Job summary

Del Pd Pumps & Gears as Ingersoll Rand Inc. seeks a procurement professional to manage purchasing activities, ensuring cost-effective, timely, and quality acquisition of goods and services for our Surendranagar operations.

You will handle supplier and vendor management, ordering, inventory control, and reporting to optimise costs and compliance, with six days working and a collaborative, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Supplier & Vendor Management: Identify potential suppliers, evaluate offers, negotiate contract terms, and build lasting relationships.
• Procurement & Ordering: Process purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders (POs), and manage the purchasing lifecycle, including tracking deliveries.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, and assist with demand forecasting.
• Cost & Quality Optimization: Analyze market trends to optimize procurement costs, review product quality, and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier agreements, while generating reports on procurement costs and performance.
