Ingersoll Rand is seeking a procurement professional for Surendranagar, Gujarat to manage supplier relationships, purchase orders, and inventory control. The role focuses on cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services, while maintaining quality and compliance.

The incumbent will drive supplier evaluation, negotiate terms, and generate procurement reports to optimize costs and performance within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Supplier & Vendor Management: Identify potential suppliers, evaluate offers, negotiate contract terms, and build lasting relationships.
• Procurement & Ordering: Process purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders (POs), and manage the purchasing lifecycle, including tracking deliveries.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, and assist with demand forecasting.
• Cost & Quality Optimization: Analyze market trends to optimize procurement costs, review product quality, and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier agreements, while generating reports on procurement costs and performance.

Job Summary
