Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Compressor Systems & Services is seeking a Third-Party Inspection Engineer in Surendranagar, Gujarat. You will perform independent on-site inspections, non-destructive testing, and document reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards during manufacturing and projects.

The role requires strong attention to detail, robust communication, and the ability to manage supplier relationships, procurement activities, and documentation for quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Supplier & Vendor Management: identify suppliers, evaluate offers, negotiate terms.
• Procurement & Ordering: process purchase requisitions, issue POs, manage purchasing lifecycle.
• Inventory Control: monitor stock levels and assist with demand forecasting.
• Cost & Quality Optimization: analyze market trends to optimize procurement costs and ensure quality.
• Documentation & Reporting: maintain records of purchases and generate reports on costs and performance.

Job Summary

A Third-Party Inspection (TPI) Engineer provides independent, unbiased verification that materials, equipment, and structures comply with quality standards, technical specifications, and safety regulations. They conduct on-site inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and document reviews during manufacturing, construction, or shutdown projects to ensure safety and quality.

• Supplier & Vendor Management: Identify potential suppliers, evaluate offers, negotiate contract terms, and build lasting relationships.
• Procurement & Ordering: Process purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders (POs), and manage the purchasing lifecycle, including tracking deliveries.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, and assist with demand forecasting.
• Cost & Quality Optimization: Analyze market trends to optimize procurement costs, review product quality, and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier agreements, while generating reports on procurement costs and performance.
