Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Surendranagar, Gujarat, is seeking a Third-Party Inspection Engineer to provide independent verification that materials, equipment, and structures meet quality standards and safety regulations. The role involves on-site inspections, NDT, and document reviews across manufacturing and projects.

You will identify suppliers, manage procurement, monitor inventory, optimize costs, and maintain detailed records and reports to support quality and compliance across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Supplier & Vendor Management: Identify potential suppliers, evaluate offers, negotiate contract terms, and build lasting relationships.
• Procurement & Ordering: Process purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders (POs), and manage the purchasing lifecycle, including tracking deliveries.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, and assist with demand forecasting.
• Cost & Quality Optimization: Analyze market trends to optimize procurement costs, review product quality, and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier agreements, while generating reports on procurement costs and performance.

Job Summary

A Third-Party Inspection (TPI) Engineer provides independent, unbiased verification that materials, equipment, and structures comply with quality standards, technical specifications, and safety regulations. They conduct on-site inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and document reviews during manufacturing, construction, or shutdown projects to ensure safety and quality.
