Project Initiation & Planning
- Lead internal project handover from Sales after order confirmation.
- Review contracts, purchase orders, technical specifications, and commercial requirements.
- Develop Project Execution Plan (PEP).
- Prepare stakeholder communication matrix.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Conduct customer and internal Kick-Off Meetings (KOM).
Project Scheduling & Coordination
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project or equivalent software.
- Prepare Gantt Charts and establish project baselines.
- Identify and monitor critical path activities.
- Coordinate timelines with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, QA/QC, Finance, and Logistics.
- Ensure optimum resource planning and allocation.
Engineering & Documentation Management
- Monitor engineering deliverables including GADs, drawings, calculations, procedures, ITPs, and QAPs.
- Ensure timely submission of customer documents.
- Track customer approvals and document revisions.
- Maintain complete project documentation and document registers.
Procurement & Supply Chain Coordination
- Coordinate procurement of long-lead materials.
- Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.
- Track logistics activities to ensure timely material availability.
- Resolve procurement-related project issues.
Project Monitoring & Control
- Conduct weekly project review meetings.
- Prepare weekly progress reports and monthly MIS.
- Monitor schedule adherence and project milestones.
- Escalate project delays and contractual risks proactively.
- Coordinate with Finance and Sales for milestone billing and payment tracking.
Cost Management
- Monitor project budgets and profitability.
- Conduct cost reviews at major project milestones.
- Identify cost overruns and implement corrective actions.
- Support margin improvement initiatives throughout project execution.
Site Execution & Commissioning
- Coordinate site readiness and material verification.
- Manage contractor selection and site mobilization.
- Supervise installation, commissioning, FAT, SAT, and punch list closure.
- Ensure compliance with site safety and quality standards.
Change Management
- Manage change requests and maintain Change Request Register.
- Evaluate schedule and cost impact of project changes.
- Obtain customer approvals for variations.
- Update project budgets, schedules, and documentation.
Quality & Compliance
- Coordinate inspections with QA/QC and customers.
- Ensure closure of NCRs and corrective actions.
- Verify compliance with contractual specifications and quality requirements.
- Ensure timely submission of final quality dossiers.
Project Closure
- Coordinate final documentation submission.
- Obtain completion certificates from customers.
- Conduct project close-out meetings.
- Prepare project closure reports including lessons learned.
- Archive project records in accordance with company procedures.
