Job summary

Employer Quality HR India in Dadra and Nagar Haveli is seeking a Sr. Executive - Accounts for our Silvassa plant. The role requires 3–4 years of accounting experience in manufacturing.

You will handle day-to-day plant accounting, inventory valuation, GST/TDS compliance, and assist in month-end closures and MIS reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in ERP and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS and PF processes.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day plant accounting and financial entries.
• Ensure plant accounting is accurate; knowledge of revenue and capital items, GST, TDS and PF.
• Submit monthly financial statements to management in a timely manner.
• Monitor RM, WIP, and finished goods inventory accounting.
• Prepare monthly MIS, cost reports, and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, expense monitoring, and cost control activities.
• Conduct stock reconciliation and assist in physical inventory verification.
• Verify monthly inventory valuation.
• Maintain Fixed Assets register with tagging of assets.
• Ensure timely statutory compliances (PF, GST, TDS).
• Maintain documentation and internal controls.
• Support month-end and year-end closing.

Position: Sr. Executive - Accounts

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day plant accounting and financial entries.
• Ensure that all the plant accounting is done correctly. Should have good knowledge of revenue and capital items accounting, Goods and Service Tax (GST), TDS and Provident Fund (PF)
• Ensure that all the plant accounting entries are accounted on timely basis, to enable the correct submission of the monthly financial statements to the management of the Company.
• Monitor inventory accounting including RM, WIP, and finished goods.
• Prepare monthly MIS, cost reports, and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, expense monitoring, and cost control activities.
• Conduct stock reconciliation and assist in physical inventory verification.
• Verification of inventory valuation on monthly basis.
• Preparation and maintenance of the Fixed Assets register, with proper tagging of the fixed assets.
• Ensure that all the Statutory Compliances are timely met on monthly basis. (PF, GST, TDS etc.)
• Maintain proper documentation and adherence to internal controls.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
