Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. in India is seeking an experienced automotive electrical design engineer to drive development of engine management, electrical distribution, and driver control systems.

You will work from concept to production with a focus on reliability and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate holds a BE in EE, has 6+ years of relevant experience, and demonstrates knowledge of CMVR legislation, DFMEA, design reviews, and cross‑functional interfacing with suppliers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in automotive electrical design development.
• BE Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Knowledge of CMVR legislation and automotive standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive electrical systems and aggregates (engine management, distribution, driver controls).
• Lead projects from concept to production with timely delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal/external agencies for system interfacing.
• Perform DFMEA, design reviews, and DVPR finalization.

Job description

• 1) Experience in on Automotive systems Design Development with aggregates like Engine Management system, Electrical Distribution, Driver control systems i.e. Combination switches, all types of switches, Instrument cluster with good understanding of latest technologies.


• 2) Electrical and Electronic system definitions and capability for technical project management from concept stage to production.


• 3) Knowledge on legislation applicable forthcoming CMVR.


• 4) Should have an in depth knowledge on D-FMEA, Design Reviews, SAM finalization of DVPR.


• 5) Knowledge on Electrical system, trouble shooting techniques, Design optimization, Benchmarking, auto electrical upcoming industry trends.


• 5) Sensitivity to the value for the money kind of features.


• 6) Proper interaction communication with supplier and internal and external agencies for Interfacing of system.


• 7) As a team lead/ competency lead with ensuring timely delivery.


• 8) Knowledge about Metaphase systems or any other PDM.
