Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to design, develop and integrate lighting electronics for multiple vehicle segments. You will define system requirements, manage design releases and review schematics to ensure cost optimisation and robustness.

Collaborating across marketing, service and other departments, you will stay abreast of new technologies, manage project documentation and be open to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or ME/MEch/MTech in engineering
• 4–6 years of experience in electronics design and related fields
• Experience with wiring harness, electronics HW, CAN FD, and VCI tools

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and integrate electronics in lighting
• Define system requirements and lamp electronics architecture
• Review schematics and propose cost optimisation and robustness improvements
• Manage design releases, development, validation and field failures
• Interfacing with all inter-dept teams from marketing to service from start to end of project
• Open to travel across India and overseas

Job description

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:

• To design, develop and integrate electronics in lighting
• Advance thinking & Identify technology roadmap for lighting for different vehicle segments in PV, CV & FD segment
• Benchmarking of lighting technologies
• Define system requirement document based on feature content
• Lamp electronics architecture definition
• POC for new technologies
• Vehicle interface, Device transmittal, function description document management
• Review schematic and propose cost optimisation, system robustness, EMI-EMC
• Thorough understanding of component datasheet for IC, actives, passives & LEDs
• Managing and tracking of design release, development, validation & field failures
• Should have additional knowledge in Wiring harness, Electronics HW
• Review & release technical specifications & other documentations
• Should have detail knowledge on circuits, logic,software integration, CAN FD, VCI tools
• Must demonstrate a high degree of problem solving ability, especially in the field of expertise. Usage of tools used in DFMEA , problem solving tools and techniques and project management tools ,
• Fluent in use of personal computer programs such as Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, project etc.
