Job summary

Arvind Limited in Gujarat, India is seeking a QA/QC professional to oversee QAP development, ASME U-Stamp related activities, and ISO certification processes. You will coordinate with design, purchase, production, and client teams to ensure compliance and quality across all jobs.

The role involves material testing, third-party inspections, and maintaining extensive documentation while mentoring a small team and ensuring adherence to QEHS standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare QAPs and procedures for all jobs and finalize dossiers.
• Obtain release notes for EIL jobs.
• Identify materials for all jobs and conduct material testing.
• Maintain records of documents for related jobs.
• Coordinate third-party inspectors and conduct job inspections.
• Regular interaction with design, purchase, marketing, production, machine shop and clients.
• Prepare U-Stamp audits and related activities; knowledge of ASME Code.
• Prepare hardness and UT test reports; receiving inspection for U Stamp and handling U-Stamp and C-Marking jobs.
• Inspect shop activities.
• Active role in ISO certification.
• Manage a team of 2-3 persons, mentoring and identifying training needs.
• Basic understanding of QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health & Safety) preferred.
