Role & responsibilities
To support the Project Manager in effective planning, monitoring, and control of EPC project execution schedules by developing detailed project schedules, monitoring progress, managing productivity, preparing MIS reports, dashboards, and projections, and ensuring timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Project Control Schedules, summary-level schedules, and 90-day look-ahead schedules at project initiation.
- Prepare and monitor engineering, procurement, construction, and overall project progress curves.
- Develop and track man-hour loading curves, productivity trends, and forecasting.
- Monitor activity start/finish dates, manpower deployment, progress achievements, and productivity.
- Analyse potential and actual delays; recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Anticipate project risks and advise the Project Manager on mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and control schedule updates arising from change orders and scope variations.
- Coordinate with site teams for actual progress, billing milestones, and constraints.
- Prepare and publish monthly progress reports, dashboards, MIS reports, projections, and interim flash reports.
- Support billing programs and schedule-linked billing milestones.
- Provide planning and performance inputs for project close-out reports.
Preferred candidate profile
Educational Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience & Skills
- 1015 years of experience in EPC projects, preferably in Nuclear / Oil & Gas sectors
- Strong site execution knowledge (EPC projects)
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project (MSP)
- Hands-on experience in planning, scheduling, billing programs, projections, dashboards, MIS, and reporting
- Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills
