Job summary

Multitex Group in India is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineering professional to lead EPC/O&G site execution. You will prepare work instructions, review drawings, plan manpower, and drive on-site activities to meet milestones with strict safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate with E&I and civil teams, interface with head office and clients, monitor progress, and support billing activities. Requires B.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Mechanical Eng and 30+ years of EPC/O&G experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 30+ years of EPC/Oil & Gas project experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work instructions, drawings, and execution plans.
• Plan manpower and resource allocation for site execution.
• Lead site teams to meet milestones and schedules.
• Ensure quality clearance before site activities.
• Identify design issues and propose corrective actions.
• Review drawings to prevent clashes and delays.
• Coordinate with Head Office for technical issue resolution.
• Collaborate with clients for project execution and site billing.
• Plan hydrotesting and testing loops.
• Develop commissioning strategies and pre-commissioning plans.
• Submit daily and monthly progress reports.
• Oversee material planning for piping, fittings, scaffolding, welding consumables.
• Lead site execution teams for timely completion.
• Coordinate with E&I teams for integrated execution.
• Monitor daily progress of contractors and internal teams.
• Support Civil teams in work planning and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare work instructions, construction documents, and execution plans using layouts, isometric drawings, P&IDs, and equipment drawings.
• Plan manpower requirements and arrange resources for efficient site execution.
• Lead and coordinate site teams to achieve project milestones within scheduled timelines.
• Ensure quality clearance and compliance before execution of site activities.
• Identify potential design issues and recommend corrective actions before execution.
• Review engineering drawings with P&IDs and equipment layouts to prevent clashes and execution delays.
• Coordinate with Head Office for timely resolution of technical and site-related issues.
• Coordinate with clients for smooth project execution and provide support for site billing activities.
• Plan and execute hydrotesting by preparing testing loops.
• Develop execution, pre-commissioning, and commissioning strategies.
• Prepare and submit daily and monthly project progress reports.
• Review material planning and availability, including piping, fittings, flanges, scaffolding, and welding consumables.
• Lead the site execution team to ensure timely completion of project activities.
• Coordinate with the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) team for integrated project execution.
• Monitor and review daily work progress of contractors and internal site teams.
• Support Civil Engineering teams in work planning and resource allocation for smooth execution.
