Job summary

Bharat Forge in Tirupati is seeking a production professional to lead die casting operations, ensuring the production schedule is met while minimizing downtime and waste. You will focus on proactive maintenance, process standardization, and cross‑functional coordination to deliver quality output.

The role requires hands-on HPDC/LPDC expertise, attention to documentation, and a strong emphasis on safety and 5S practices on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Die casting experience required.
• Good communication skills.
• IATF knowledge preferred.
• HPDC & LPDC manufacturing hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Achieve production schedule as per planning by organization.
• Maintain zero breakdown during production run through proactive maintenance of machines and dies.
• Execute production effectively by adhering to standard parameters.
• Coordinate with other departments for smooth production and quality output.
• Monitor foundry consumables and control usage within targets.
• Maintain records of organizational documents and ensure compliance with IATF 16949.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Achieving production schedule as per planning by organization.
2. Achieving zero breakdown during production run by proper & proactive maintenance of machines and dies.
3. Execute production in effective manner by adopting standard parameter
4. Coordination with other department for smooth execution of Production & Quality output.
5. Monitoring foundry consumables & initiating to control beyond the limit of target.
6. Maintaining the records of all the organizational related documents.
7. Standardization of process activities in die casting and post foundry operation activities.
8. Planning of die loading schedule synchronize with machine shop production planning.
9. Training identify, Evaluate and Upgrade the operator skills by provide training in effective mode.
10. Maintaining the all the documents to fulfill the requirements of IATF 16949 & other

Customer specific requirements.

1. Carrying out analysis on problems and take corrective action to come out the issue.
2. Improve 5S culture and build up safety working environment in shop floor
3. Optimize utilization of available resources in right manner.
4. Problem solving using using 7QC tools & PDCA methodology.
5. Allocation of the work for the manpower in PDC and post foundry operation.

16.Responsible for melting department operation and process control.

1. Preparation of MRM data and present to management.
2. Coordinate with die and machine maintenance team to maintain resource in right time.
3. Production planning along with coordinate PPC and Machine shop production team.
