Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. in Bengaluru seeks an experienced EV validation engineer to drive EPT system integration for PV and CV platforms, coordinate E&E interface sign-offs and develop system-level test cases for architecture verification.

The role emphasizes on-site lab setup, real-world testing, rapid issue resolution with cross-functional teams, and extensive use of CAN/LIN/UDS diagnostics and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with CAN, LIN and UDS protocols.
• Live data capture and data analysis proficiency.
• Strong understanding of Battery EV systems and in-vehicle networks.
• Proficient in root-cause analysis, 8D reports and FTA.
• Familiarity with CANoe, CAN Analyser and INCA tools.
• Knowledge of automotive development cycle and DFMEA is a plus.
• Experience driving light CVs for testing on road/track.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EPT system integration activities for PV and CV platforms.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for interface sign-off.
• Create/write system-level test cases to verify architecture.
• Raise and track concern tickets to closure.
• Analyze concern logs for first-level analysis and drive resolutions with cross-functional teams.
• On-site lab car setup, deployment, proto build analysis at plant locations.
• Conduct vehicle-level drivability maneuvers for development testing.

Job description

• Responsible for EPT System Integration activities for PV and CV platforms.
• Coordinating with Internal & External stake holders for E&E interface sign off.
• To create/write system level test case to verify logical architecture and interfaces against system architecture.
• To raise concern tickets and track concerns to closure.
• To analyse concern logs from internal and external stakeholder for first level analysis and drive technical concern resolution in collaboration with project cross function team.
• On-site technical support for Lab car set-up and deployment, proto build concern analysis at M&M plant locations, and for real world testing.
• To execute vehicle level drivability maneuvers related to vehicle dynamics which a vehicle must go through during development.

4 ~ 7 years

General Requirements

• Skills- • Hands on experience in communication & diagnostic protocols (CAN, LIN, UDS).
• • Hands on experience in live data capturing & data analysis.
• • Sound knowledge on Battery electric vehicle system, its functions and in-Vehicle Networks.
• • Proficient in problem solving (Root cause analysis, 8D reports, FTA, why why analysis)
• • Sound knowledge on diagnostic tools and CANOe, CAN Analyser & INCA.
• • Sound knowledge on System level DFEMA, automotive product development cycle.
• • Experienced in driving light commercial vehicles for testing on road and testing track for testing purpose.
• • Knowledge of ASPICE process for system verification is an added advantage.
• • Knowledge of VCU interaction with ESC/ADAS for system verification is an added advantage.
