Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. is seeking an experienced electrical/engineering professional to review and integrate EVSE and Wall Box Charger systems with vehicle platforms in Chennai. You will work with design teams to realize EVSE/WBC features while balancing quality, cost and schedule.

The role requires 7-10 years in electrical engineering within automotive domains, with strong knowledge of EVSE, WBC, CAN matrices and OCPP. DFMEA, design reviews and project management experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in electrical engineering / automotive systems.
• Strong knowledge of EVSE, Wall Box Chargers (WBC), CAN matrix, OCPP.
• Familiarity with DFMEA, design reviews, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Review EVSE/WBC circuit designs to ensure correct integration with vehicle systems.
• Collaborate with CFT and design engineers for system integration of EVSE/WBC features with QoS (Quality, Cost, Time).
• Validate components by drafting test cases at component and vehicle level to ensure a fault-free product.
• Utilize knowledge of CAN matrix, ECU interfaces and OCPP for diagnostics and interoperability.

Job description

To have fair knowledge on power train system including the base knowledge of electric vehicle and associated systems like electrical vehicle supply equipement (EVSE), Wall box chargers (WBC).
To review the circuit for EVSE, WBC and to have knowledge on Diagnostics system management of EVSE,WBC and to have knowledge on OCPP.
Base level integration with CFT & design engineers for system integration to realise the required EVSE,WBC feature with Quality , Cost and Time.
Validating the components by taking support in making proper test cases in both component and vehicle level so as to give issue free product to customer
To have knowledge on CAN matrix of ECU
To work to bring out some cost effective solution thro IMCR/VAVE activities.
Should have knowledge on working of BOM details of components.
Must demonstrate a high degree of problem solving ability, especially in the field of expertise. Usage of Quality tools, DFMEA,Design Reviews & Project management
Fluent in use of personal computer programs such as Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.

Experience

7 - 10 years

Industry Preferred

Any other OEM in electrical domain, Tier 1 suppliers (for EV specific systems)

Knowledge and Awareness of dev agencies and testing at agency like ARAI / VRDe/I CAT
Awareness of vehicle technical symposiums, conference etc.,
Good knowledge on systems like design review’s/ DFMEA’s
Specialized, Technical Good knowledge on vehicle electrical system and interfacing parts.
Maintaining quality level targets as per agreement
