Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/E&TC with knowledge of EVs and energy systems.
• Familiar with PLM (Teamcenter) and CAD tools like UG NX.
• Understanding of EV electrical architectures and harness design principles.

Responsibilities

• Layout and packaging of parts in vehicle DMU considering functionality and serviceability.
• Support vehicle programs through design, prototype builds, testing and production.
• Assist in preparation of circuit diagrams at vehicle system level and wiring harness considerations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for testing, homologation, and vehicle batches.

Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics / E&TC, having knowledge in Electric vehicle and its energy systems/ machines etc

Job Responsibilities

• Layout and packaging of parts in vehicle DMU considering all aspects of functionality, assembly (DFA) / serviceability (DFS).
• PLM (Teamcenter) release activity at various vehicle stages & UG NX 2D,3D handling, drawing preparation & review
• Support vehicle programs through the entire life cycle including; design, prototype builds, vehicle test and production.
• Understanding of vehicle electrical architecture & support for preparation of circuit diagram at vehicle system level
• Co-ordination with various cross functional teams for testing, Homologation, vehicle batches (Proto, Pilot, SOP), Plant, service
• Technical document preparation for Diagnostic manual, various standard operating procedure, Homologation requirement documents

Technical/ Functional

• Good understanding of basic theories and design concepts of different electronics and electrical components used in EVs.
• Software skills : CAD , UG NX or equivalent
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management.
• Know-how of applicable standards/ regulations and their application for EVs
• Knowledge of vehicle harness design considerations, wire size selection, power connectors & vehicle electrical insulation requirements etc.
