Job summary

UCAM, a leader in precision engineering, seeks a Sr. Engineer / Deputy Manager for its Machine Shop. The role demands 10-13 years of hands-on experience with HMCs, 5-axis CNCs, and precision grinding.

You will schedule machines, monitor tool life, and drive data-driven improvements while maintaining high-quality output. The ideal candidate communicates effectively in English, leads by example, and can manage maintenance and bottlenecks to keep production on track.

Qualifications

• 10-13 years of experience in machine shop operations.
• Experience with HMC and CNC tooling.
• Knowledge of 5-axis machines and precision grinding.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Ability to plan and schedule machines.

Responsibilities

• Schedule machines per plan and ensure availability.
• Ensure dependable operations and timely production.
• Communicate effectively in English with team and stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor team members; people management skills.
• Maintain basic maintenance and housekeeping of equipment.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize workflow.
