UCAM Pvt. Ltd. (Nimble Machines) in Bengaluru invites an experienced Electrical Harnessing & Panel Wiring Specialist/Supervisor to join our production team at Dabaspet.

You will guide harnessing, wiring and control-cabinet build-up for gear hobbing/shaping machines, including Fanuc and Siemens CNC controller wiring and commissioning. Ideal candidate has 5+ years in machine tool electrical harnessing, is hands-on, and proficient in reading schematics.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 5+ years in machine tool electrical harnessing / panel wiring.
• Experience with Fanuc and Siemens CNC wiring and commissioning.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Guide/supervise electrical harnessing, panel wiring and control-cabinet build-up for gear hobber/shaper tools.
• Support Fanuc and Siemens CNC controller wiring, wiring commissioning and electrical trials.
• Prepare electrical manuals and select electrical elements.
• Maintain wiring documentation, cable schedules, and update drawings with redlines.
• Ensure safety, 5S, and LOTO practices on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Quality and Design/Electrical Engg for BOM changes.

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

General Purpose

Guiding/Supervising electrical harnessing, panel wiring, and control-cabinet build-up for gear hobbing/shaping machine tools, including support for Fanuc and Siemens CNC controller wiring and commissioning - ensuring machines are wired correctly, safely, and ready for electrical trial and dispatch.

Guidance on complete electrical harnessing and cable routing on machine tools as per wiring diagrams/schematics

Wire and mount control panels, junction boxes, servo drives, motors, sensors, and other components.

Support wiring, termination, and commissioning assistance for Fanuc and Siemens CNC controllers and drive systems.

Preparation of electrical manuals and selection of electrical elements.

Supervise/Carry out continuity, insulation, and functional checks before electrical trial/power-on.

Troubleshoot and rectify wiring faults during assembly, trial run, and final testing.

Coordinate with Mechanical Assembly, Quality, and Design/Electrical Engineering for BOM changes and fitment issues

Maintain wiring documentation, cable schedules, and update redline changes to drawings

Follow electrical safety practices, LOTO procedures, and 5S discipline on the shop floor

Skills Required

5+ years hands-on experience in machine tool electrical harnessing / panel wiring

Working exposure to Fanuc and Siemens CNC controllers - wiring, I/O connections, and commissioning, parameterizing and troubleshooting.

Good communication skills, both verbally and written.

SAP knowledge is optional.

Team player with each cross-functional team such as R&D, Service, Applications etc.

CNC commissioning, Machine testing and verification of electrical elements.

Ability to prepare, read and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and cable schedules.

Follow ups with the Purchase team/ Ops for the necessary shortage parts for assembly activities.

Hands-on experience in preparing panel wiring, cable termination (crimping, lugging), and cable tray/conduit routing

Familiarity with servo motors, drives, PLC I/O, and control components used in CNC machine tools

Proficient with test instruments - multimeter, megger/insulation tester

Awareness of electrical safety standards and LOTO practices
