Job summary

Peoplefy Infosolutions in Mangalore is seeking a skilled CNC cutting and fabrication coordinator to manage plate and pipe preparation, nesting, and kitting of raw materials ensuring timely delivery to the equipment fabrication shop.

The role requires hands-on experience with AutoCAD, CNC nesting software, oxy-fuel and plasma cutting, and strong shop-floor supervision for heavy fabrication projects. Shift includes 1st and 2nd shifts.

Qualifications

• The role requires CNC cutting, plate and pipe preparation, nesting and kitting of raw materials.
• Experience with cutting machines, rolling machines and CNC cutting is required.
• Strong shop-floor supervision and heavy fabrication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily throughput for Preparatory shop to feed kitting items to Equipment Manufacturing plant requirements and provide inputs on time.
• Oversee RM cutting, preparation of kitting and delivery per applicable specs and standards.
• Control CNC programming, nesting and readiness documents to meet customer specs and design codes.
• Set and monitor KPIs for Preparatory shop objectives and ensure adherence to procedures and timely approvals from Inspection.
• Optimize cutting cell processes per customer specs and project QAP compliance.

1. Clear Understanding and management of Plate and pipe cutting and readiness of parts for

Fabrication

3. Utilizing Nesting, CNC Programming techniques to optimize equipment manufacturing

4. Detailed planning to coordinate Preparatory, transportation, and Kitting, with minimizing delays.

5. Close collaboration among engineering, fabrication, and Quality teams to ensure Equipments

meet quality, safety, and performance standards.

1. UpToDate Knowledge and experience in Internationals codes / standards like ASME ,API/EN/TEMA/ASTM

and in Preparatory like AutoCAD, CNC Nesting softwares, etc.

1. Manage daily throughput for Preparatory shop to feed kitting items to Equipment Manufacturing plant requirements and provide comprehensive inputs on time.

2. Manage all type of RM cutting, Preparation of kitting and delivery etc in applicable specifications, codes, standards, regulatory requirements ensuring deliverable's within project schedules.

3. Control and monitoring CNC programming, Nesting and items reediness documentation complying to scope, customer specifications, design codes requirements. Also to ensure first time right inputs to Equipment Fabrication shops

4. Set and achieve KPI's in line with preparatory shop objectives for Equipment Manufacturing plant. Ensure teams adherence to Internal procedures/ processes , timely documentation and approvals from Inspection

5. Ensure optimize processes for cutting Cell as per customer specifications and quality assurance as per project QAP and Schedule.

1. Hands on experience in Nesting Softwares, CNC programming for Plate and Pipe Oxy-Fuel /

Plasma Cutting (minimum 5 years)

Primary Skills (Must Have)

• The role is responsible for CNC cutting, plate & pipe preparation, nesting, and kitting of raw materials so that the Equipment Fabrication shop receives the right parts on time, as per drawings/specifications and with first-time-right quality.
• Target candidates from Service Department / Final Assembly backgrounds in relevant companies.
• Experience with cutting machines, rolling machines and CNC cutting is required.
• Strong shop-floor supervision and heavy fabrication experience preferred.
• Exposure to hydro testing / pressure testing is preferred.
• Godrej Process Equipment Division identified as a relevant target company/background.
