Primary candidates: 5+ years in shell rolling and heavy fabrication, with experience in cutting machines, rolling machines, and CNC cutting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in Shell Rolling Shop.
• Experience with Plate Prebending and Rerolling of shells.
• Experience with Long Seam Welding and distortion control.
• Knowledge of cutting machines, rolling machines and CNC cutting.
• Strong shop-floor supervision and heavy fabrication experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage Plate Rolling, Long Seam welding, NDT of seam and rerolling of shells for fabrication readiness.
• Optimize equipment manufacturing through rolling operation and shell manufacturing techniques.
• Coordinate Preparatory, transportation, and kitting to minimize delays.
• Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and Quality to meet standards.
• Monitor rolling machines throughput and ensure on-time delivery to fabrication shops.
• Set and achieve KPIs for Shell Rolling shop and ensure documentation and approvals.
• Ensure processes align with customer specifications and project schedules.

Job Descriptions

1. Clear Understanding and management of Plate Rolling, Long Seam welding, NDT of seam and rerolling of shells and readiness of shells for Fabrication
2. Utilizing Rolling machine operation and shell manufacturing techniques to optimize equipment manufacturing
3. Detailed planning to coordinate Preparatory, transportation, and Kitting, with minimizing delays.
4. Close collaboration among engineering, fabrication, and Quality teams to ensure Equipments meet quality, safety, and performance standards.

Role Requirements

1. UpToDate Knowledge and experience in Internationals codes / standards like ASME ,API/EN/TEMA/ASTM and in Rolling of shells and Long Seam welding, etc.
2. Very good Social and Communication skills along with attitude of Customer Orientation.
3. Manage daily throughput for Preparatory shop to feed Rooled Shells to Equipment Manufacturing plant requirements and provide comprehensive inputs on time.
4. Manage all type of Shell plate rolling, Rerolling and delivery in applicable specifications, codes, standards, regulatory requirements ensuring deliverable's within project schedules.
5. Control and monitoring Rolling Machines throughput and Rolled shells reediness & documentation complying to scope, customer specifications, design codes requirements. Also to ensure first time right inputs to Equipment Fabrication shops
6. Set and achieve KPI's in line with Shell Rolling shop objectives for Equipment Manufacturing plant. Ensure teams adherence to Internal procedures/ processes , timely documentation and approvals from Inspection
7. Ensure optimize processes for Rolling Cell as per customer specifications and quality assurance as per project QAP and Schedule.

Hands on Experience

• Hands on experience in Handling Shell Rolling Shop (minimum 5 years) , Knowledge of Function for Plate Prebending, Rolling of Shells and Rerolling with enough experience with Long Seam Welding with Distortion control
