Job summary

Flexi Careers India in Ambattur, Chennai, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor with 3–5 years of hands-on experience to oversee maintenance of CNC, VMC, conventional machines, DG sets and compressors.

The role requires planning, problem solving, and the ability to work independently or in a team. ISO internal auditor certifications (ISO 14001/45001/9001/50001) are advantageous. Ensure a safe working environment and manage annual service contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising maintenance activities in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Hands-on maintenance of CNC, VMC, conventional machines, DG sets and compressors.
• Experience in maintenance planning and implementation.
• Knowledge of problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with fire extinguishers and fire hydrants.
• Proficiency with mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Internal Auditor for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 50001.
• Ensure a safe working environment.
• Annual Contract Management of Services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance activities across CNC, VMC and other machinery.
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Manage annual service contracts and vendor relationships.
• Identify and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and fire safety procedures.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical and plumbing teams for integrated maintenance.
• Audit internal processes against ISO 14001/45001/9001/50001 as applicable.
