Job summary

Cadmaxx in Karnataka is seeking a Maintenance Engineer with 3-4+ years experience in electrical/mechatronics/mechanical fields. You will handle preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance, including robotics, PLC/HMI, and instrumentation across high-value assets.

Candidates should have a Diploma/BE, be comfortable with shift rotations, and Kannada/English communication. Immediate joiners within 1 week to 15 days are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical engineering.
• 3-4+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Hands-on in robotics, instrumentation and automation.

Responsibilities

• Preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of assets.
• Execute planned maintenance schedules for high-value assets like induction machines and winding equipment.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot robotics systems.
• Work with PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting.
• Maintain instrumentation and automation in manufacturing.
• Prepare PM checklists, logbooks and ISO documentation.
• Respond to equipment faults promptly and diagnose issues.
• Ensure safe maintenance practices and health & safety compliance.

Position: Maintenance Engineer

Qualification: Diploma/B.E in Electrical / Mechatronics / Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: Experience in relevant function for 3-4 + years in relevant Industry

Main Accountabilities

• Preventive & Predictive & Breakdown Maintenance
• Execute planned maintenance schedules for high-value assets (Induction machines, Vacuum ovens, Winding machines).
• Hands-on experience on Robotics system installation, maintenance & troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience in Instrumentation & Automation in manufacturing industry
• Should have understanding about PLC / HMI programming & troubleshooting
• Hand-on Experience on CNC Winding Mc/ SPM (special Purpose Machine) etc.
• Exposure to pneumatic & hydraulic system, power pack, compressor etc.
• Able to prepare maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods like ISO documentation, PM Checklist, Logbook
• carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults (Electrical / Electronic/ Instrumentation / Mech etc.)
• work with specialist equipment, such as programmable logic controllers which control machinery on factory assembly lines
• Diagnose breakdown problems & attend on priority
• fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly
• Knowledge about of jig, fixtures, fittings or components
• Able to control maintenance tools, stores, and equipment
• Monitor and control maintenance plan & documentation, MTTR, MTBR, equipment availability etc.
• Prepare PM Checklist, History card, PM schedule etc.
• Should deal with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs
• Follow health and safety policies and procedures of organization
• Experience in CMMS/ SAP PM module will be added advantage
• He should ensure there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns.
• Team player with good communication skill in Kannada /English / Hindi.
