Job summary

SV Management Consultants is seeking an experienced Battery Validation & Diagnostics Engineer to lead testing, verification, and troubleshooting of high-voltage battery packs and BMS for xEVs and hybrids. The role will define DVPs, validate ISO 26262 functional safety mechanisms, and serve as the technical expert during prototype and vehicle-level testing.

The candidate will perform vehicle-level integration and validation of Battery Pack, BMS with VCU, OBC, DC/DC, and charging systems, with 4–8

Qualifications

• Experience in testing, verification, and troubleshooting of battery packs and BMS.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety and its application to battery systems.
• Experience with prototype and vehicle-level testing and diagnostics.
• 4–8 years of Battery Management System experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing, verification, and troubleshooting of high-voltage battery packs and BMS.
• Define and execute comprehensive DVPs for Battery and BMS.
• Validate ISO 26262 functional safety mechanisms during testing.
• Perform vehicle-level integration and validation of Battery Pack, BMS, VCU, OBC, DC/DC, and charging systems.

Role & responsibilities

• We are seeking an experienced and analytical Battery Validation & Diagnostics Engineer to lead the testing, verification, and troubleshooting of our high-voltage battery packs and Battery Management.
• Systems (BMS) for all xEVs and Hybrid Platform.In this role, you will define and execute comprehensive Design Verification Plans (DVP)for Battery and BMS.
• Validate critical ISO 26262 functional safety mechanisms, and act as the primary technical expert for diagnosing complex battery system issues during prototype and vehicle-level testing.
• Develop and execute Design Verification Plans (DVP) for Battery Pack and Battery Management.
• System in accordance with project requirements and applicable automotive standards.
• Perform vehicle-level integration and validation of Battery Pack, BMS with VCU, On-Board Charger(OBC), DC/DC Converter, and charging systems.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics,
