Job summary

Cadence Architects is seeking an experienced architectural draftsperson to join our Bengaluru office. You will prepare and update detailed drawings, coordinate with multiple engineers, and ensure design accuracy for residential and commercial projects.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of drafting experience, advanced AutoCAD skills, and familiarity with Revit and 3D visualization tools. BIM workflows and strong documentation are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in architecture or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of architectural drafting experience in consultancy or design firm.
• Strong knowledge of architectural construction methods, detailing, and project documentation.
• Advanced AutoCAD proficiency; working knowledge of Revit preferred.
• Familiarity with SketchUp and basic 3D visualization tools; BIM workflows a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings: plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Develop and update working drawings, tender drawings, and GFC sets.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and site teams to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
• Modify and revise drawings based on design changes, site conditions, and consultant inputs.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, building codes, and authority requirements.
• Prepare detailed joinery, furniture, and interior execution drawings where required.
• Assist in preparing submission drawings for statutory approvals and client presentations.
• Maintain proper documentation, drawing registers, and revision control.
• Conduct site visits when required to verify execution and resolve drawing-related issues.
• Support in quantity take-offs and basic BOQ preparation when needed.
