Job summary

Genpact in India invites applications for the role of Salesforce Leankor Developer. You will extend and optimize Salesforce managed packages, build custom layers atop complex third‑party apps, and manage the lifecycle of enterprise‑scale packages.

Key focus areas include Leankor optimization, Apex/LWC development, namespace governance, CI/CD with Copado/Gearset, and integrating Salesforce with external systems. Hybrid work model with strong learning culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical strategy for implementing and extending high-scale managed packages.
• Architect Leankor custom workflows and project management extensions.
• Develop Apex (Triggers, Controllers, Batch) and LWC that interact with managed packages.
• Manage package upgrades, triggers, overrides, and integrations with zero downtime.
• Govern namespace prefixes and ensure robust error handling across boundaries.
• Design UI/UX using Field Sets, Custom Settings, and LWC for customized layouts.
• Support CI/CD for deployments with Copado/Gearset and Salesforce DX.

Inviting applications for the role of Salesforce Leankor Developer

This role is designed for a technical expert who can extend and optimize Salesforce managed packages. Leankor experience is a plus but should have a deep understanding of how to build custom layers atop complex third‑party applications and manage the technical lifecycle of enterprise‑scale managed packages.

Responsibilities:

Managed Package Architecture: Lead the technical strategy for implementing and extending high-scale managed packages, ensuring custom code remains compatible with package namespaces and future upgrade paths.

• Leankor Optimization (Preferred): Architect custom visual workflows and project management extensions within Leankor, leveraging its Kanban, Gantt, and Resource Management components to meet unique enterprise delivery needs.
• Advanced Custom Development: Develop high-performance Apex (Triggers, Controllers, Batch) and Lightning Web Components (LWC) that interact seamlessly with managed package objects and protected metadata.
• Package Upgrade Management: Strategize and execute complex package version updates, performing impact analysis on custom triggers, overrides, and integrations to ensure zero downtime or regression.
• Technical Governance & Namespace Management: Maintain strict adherence to Salesforce best practices regarding Namespace Prefixes, avoiding naming conflicts, and ensuring robust error handling across the managed/unmanaged boundary.
• UI/UX Customization: Design custom interfaces using Field Sets, Custom Settings, and LWC to provide a bespoke user experience that enhances standard managed package layouts (e.g., customizing Leankor’s Project Setup or Board views).
• Complex Data Modeling: Design and maintain intricate data relationships between standard Salesforce objects, custom objects, and managed package entities (e.g., linking Leankor Projects to Salesforce Field Service Work Orders).
• DevOps & Deployment: Support the CI/CD strategy for deployments involving managed package dependencies, ensuring stable migrations across sandbox tiers using tools like Copado, Gearset, or Salesforce DX.

Qualifications we seek in you!

B.E or B.Tech or MCA

Relevant experience in Salesforce development, with a strong focus on Field Service.

Extensive experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce development tools.

Deep understanding of Salesforce FSL architecture, data model, and functionality.

Experience with FSL mobile app customization and offline capabilities.

Proficiency in REST and SOAP APIs, and experience with integrating Salesforce with external systems.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Field Service Lightning Consultant) are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with other Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).

Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Apex Unit Tests, Jest).
