Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Salesforce Field Service Lightning Developer to design, develop, and maintain FSL solutions. You will build custom Lightning Web Components, Apex classes, and integrations while ensuring high performance and alignment with business needs.

You will also configure FSL features, collaborate with stakeholders, review code, and mentor junior developers in a dynamic, hybrid work environment across India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or MCA with Salesforce focus.
• Extensive Salesforce development experience, especially FSL.
• Apex, Visualforce, LWC and related Salesforce tools mastery.
• Strong REST and SOAP API integration capabilities.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy FSL solutions with LWCs, Apex, workflows.
• Configure scheduling, dispatch, optimization, and mobile workflows in FSL.
• Build integrations between FSL and external systems via APIs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into specs.

Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of Salesforce Field Service Lightning Developer. A Salesforce FSL Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Field Service Lightning solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. This includes custom components, integrations, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom solutions within Salesforce Field Service (FSL), including custom Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex classes, triggers, workflows, process builder flows, and integrations.
• Configure and customize FSL features such as scheduling, dispatching, optimization, mobile workflows, and work orders.
• Develop and maintain integrations between FSL and other systems, using APIs and middleware.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into technical specifications.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding best practices and standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to FSL implementations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, particularly in the FSL domain.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.

Minimum Qualification

• B.E or B.Tech or MCA
• Relevant experience in Salesforce development, with a strong focus on Field Service.
• Extensive experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce development tools.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce FSL architecture, data model, and functionality.
• Experience with FSL mobile app customization and offline capabilities.
• Proficiency in REST and SOAP APIs, and experience with integrating Salesforce with external systems.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Field Service Lightning Consultant) are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Apex Unit Tests, Jest)
