Job summary

Genpact is hiring a Salesforce Integration Developer to architect and build high-performance integrations between Salesforce, external ERPs, and other platforms to power Field Service and Asset Lifecycle operations.

You will implement robust REST/SOAP APIs, real-time event streams, and secure authentication, while ensuring scalable data ingestion and efficient asynchronous processing to meet enterprise needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering or MCA with Salesforce expertise.
• Strong experience in Salesforce development focusing on Field Service.
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, LWC and integration with external systems.
• Deep knowledge of FSL architecture, data model and functionality.
• Experience with FSL mobile app customization and offline capabilities.
• REST/SOAP API integrations and external system connectivity.
• Solid OO programming, design patterns and Agile/Scrum experience.
• Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, FSL Consultant) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement REST, SOAP, and Pub/Sub API integrations to connect Salesforce with ERPs and Asset Management systems.
• Develop real-time data streams using Platform Events, CDC, and Apex Triggers for field service data accuracy.
• Design ingest pipelines for high-volume data to trigger ASLM workflows in Salesforce.
• Implement asynchronous processing (Queueable, Batch, Future Apex) for large-scale data imports.
• Configure secure authentication (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Named Credentials) and ensure end-to-end encryption.
• Build self-healing integration frameworks with logging, retries, and real-time alerts for sync failures.
• Performance test APIs and optimize SOQL/SOSL for low latency external calls.

Inviting applications for the role of Developer , Salesforce Integration Developer.

This role is dedicated to architecting and building the high-performance “connective tissue” between Salesforce, external ERPs, and other platforms to power seamless Field Service and Asset Lifecycle operations.

Responsibilities

• API Architecture: Design and implement robust REST, SOAP, and Pub/Sub API integrations to synchronize data between Salesforce, ERPs (like SAP/Oracle), and Asset Management systems.
• Real-Time Data Streams: Develop high-scale event-driven architectures using Platform Events , Change Data Capture (CDC), and Apex Triggers to ensure field technicians have real-time data.
• Asset & Other platform Integration: Architect the ingestion of high-volume data into Salesforce to trigger automated Asset Service Lifecycle Management (ASLM) workflows.
• Asynchronous Processing: Expertly implement Queueable, Batch, and Future Apex to handle large-scale data imports and heavy computational logic without hitting governor limits.
• Security & Identity: Configure secure authentication protocols, including OAuth 2.0 , OpenID Connect, and Named Credentials , ensuring end-to-end encryption and compliance.
• Error Handling Frameworks: Build “Self-Healing” integration frameworks with custom logging, automated retry logic, and real-time alerting for failed synchronization events.
• Performance Optimization: Conduct rigorous API performance testing and SOQL/SOSL optimization to ensure low-latency responses for external system calls.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualification

• B.E or B.Tech or MCA
• Relevant experience in Salesforce development, with a strong focus on Field Service.
• Extensive experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce development tools.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce FSL architecture, data model, and functionality.
• Experience with FSL mobile app customization and offline capabilities.
• Proficiency in REST and SOAP APIs, and experience with integrating Salesforce with external systems.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Field Service Lightning Consultant) are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Apex Unit Tests, Jest).
