Job summary

RitikaaWood in Mumbai is seeking a Facade/Window Design Engineer to prepare accurate quotations for Windows, Doors, Cladding, and Decking based on inquiry sheets and drawings, while supporting the Sales team to close projects.

You will produce shop, fabrication, and production drawings, ensure designs meet company standards, coordinate with sales and operations, manage revisions, and travel to project sites as needed. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of SketchUp/Revit is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D); knowledge of SketchUp or other 3D software is an advantage.
• Exposure to SketchUp/Revit for design.
• Knowledge of façade systems, aluminum/timber windows & doors, glazing, hardware, and fabrication processes.
• Effective communication across teams to coordinate with sales, operations, and production.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and construction drawings.
• 2 years (Graduate) / 4 years (Diploma) experience in a Facade/Window industry.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and effective time management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and production drawings based on approved project requirements.
• Release production documents and drawings within the defined turnaround time (TAT).
• Prepare quotations, BOQs, and cost estimates for inquiries raised by Sales team.

Job Purpose

To prepare accurate and timely quotations for Windows, Doors, Custom Products, Cladding & Decking based on inquiry sheets, drawings, and customer requirements while supporting the Sales team in project closures.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Progress sales inquiries and establish customer requirements in conjunction with the Sales team.
• Support sales in design that meet customer specifications while being technically sound and commercially viable.
• Access any risk factors that may affect the design.
• Follow-up with sales and operations team for various inputs to release the order on time.
• Interaction with operations team to ensure all issues related to design specifications at site are resolved.
• Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and production drawings based on approved project requirements.
• Release production documents and drawings within the defined turnaround time (TAT).

• Incorporate revisions and maintain proper document and drawing version control.
