Job summary

Innowell Engineering International, Bangalore, is seeking a Senior Design Engineer - Electrical with 3-4 years of experience in MEP projects to support design, drafting, and coordination across commercial, residential, and industrial schemes.

The role emphasizes preparation of layouts, SLDs, and drawings in AutoCAD and Revit, load calculations and equipment selection, and collaboration with architects and project teams to ensure code compliance and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering with 3-4 years in MEP design.
• Experience in designing electrical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is a plus.
• Familiarity with electrical calculations and design documentation.
• Ability to coordinate with MEP teams, architects, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
• Prepare electrical layouts, schematics, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and detailed drawings using AutoCAD/Revit.
• Coordinate with MEP teams, architects, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Support load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and equipment selection.
• Review project specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and project meetings as required.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, project documentation, and as-built drawings.
• Support project execution teams in resolving technical issues during construction.
