Job summary

Smart Work Consultants is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our MEP team in India. The role focuses on electrical system design, LT/HT installations, power distribution, lighting design, testing and commissioning, and project execution.

You will design and supervise LT/HT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS, and lighting systems, coordinating with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Electrical System Design expertise required.
• LT/HT Electrical Systems knowledge.
• Power Distribution and Lighting Design proficiency.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Ability to prepare SLDs, load calculations, and cable sizing.
• Experience in testing and commissioning.
• Strong site supervision and MEP coordination.
• Familiar with electrical safety standards and QC.
• Proficient in MS Office and project documentation.

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer to join our MEP team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical system design, LT/HT installations, power distribution, lighting systems, testing & commissioning, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute electrical systems for MEP projects

Prepare electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), and load calculations

Supervise installation of LT/HT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS, and lighting systems

Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and MEP teams

Review BOQs, technical specifications, and project drawings

Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems

Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications

Monitor project schedules, site progress, quality, and material planning

Prepare project documentation, reports, and client updates
