Job summary

Genpact in India is seeking a Senior Associate for F&A – AP to manage invoice processing and payment cycles. You will validate supplier data, PO details, and bank information, ensuring timely releases and accurate pay runs.

The role emphasizes compliance and daily audits within a fast-paced, transformation-driven environment. You will engage in follow-ups on requisitions, drive process improvements, and uphold AP guidelines while maintaining high data accuracy and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Commerce/Economics/Finance or equivalent.
• Accounting/finance education with exposure to AP processes and reconciliation.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office with strong numerical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review and process invoices with validation of supplier details, PO, bank account, invoice number and date.
• Release invoices for payment timely and accurately as per SLAs.
• Ensure that pay runs are completed as agreed with the customer and perform daily validations.
• Follow up on requisitions via calls, emails or tickets to resolve invoice issues per AP guidelines.
• Identify ways to reduce helpdesk queries and contribute to process improvements.
• Adhere to internal compliance policies and participate in periodic internal audits of invoices and queries.
