Job summary

Genpact in India is seeking an Associate in Accounts Payable to check, process and pay vendor invoices and respond to supplier queries. The role involves handling email communications with vendors and internal stakeholders, resolving clarifications, and preparing reconciliations to close open items.

You will operate in a hybrid India work model, focusing on AP core accounting while ensuring accuracy and timely payments for vendor invoices.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance.
• Masters in Finance preferred.
• AP certifications such as F-Tec, CAMS, CFA, CFE, CPA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accounts payable processing: check, process and pay vendor invoices.
• Handle email queries from vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Resolve clarifications with vendors and internal teams via email or calls.
• Prepare account reconciliations and resolve open items.
