About the Client

Our client is a design and engineering consultancy established in 1972, with a strong legacy of delivering sustainable, high-quality architectural and engineering solutions. With over 800+ completed projects across all Emirates of the UAE, they are one of the most experienced firms in the region, handling a wide range of developments—high-rise towers, mixed‑use facilities, industrial logistics, luxury residences, and large‑scale infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and manage the Bengaluru architectural team (architects, BIM architects, draftsmen).

• Allocate resources, manage workloads, and ensure timely delivery of design packages.

• Mentor team members with a strong focus on BIM‑based workflows.

• Conduct design reviews, BIM model checks, QA/QC inspections, and staff appraisals.

2. Design & Technical Oversight

• Oversee architectural design from concept to CD/IFC stages.

• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, Dubai Municipality standards, and project requirements.

• Review layouts, materials, finishes, detailing, and overall design intent.

• Collaborate closely with Structural and MEP teams for integrated, buildable design solutions.

• Supervise production of drawings, 3D models, and visual presentations.

3. QA/QC Coordination

• Work closely with the QA/QC department to ensure deliverables meet required standards.

• Implement feedback and resolve design or documentation queries promptly.

• Participate in QA/QC review meetings and present clarifications where needed.

4. BIM Management

• Lead BIM workflows for architecture, ensuring accurate 3D modelling and clash detection.

• Maintain version control and standardized BIM documentation.

• Guide the team on advanced BIM tools to reduce QA/QC errors and improve efficiency.

• Coordinate with the Dubai BIM Manager when required.

5. Project Coordination & Communication

• Serve as the primary liaison between the Bengaluru and Dubai teams.

• Attend design meetings, workshops, and client presentations.

• Report project progress, risks, and solutions to Dubai management.

• Ensure smooth handover of design packages to Dubai office and clients.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in Architecture.

• 25+ years of experience with at least 10 years in a leadership or managerial position.

• Proven track record in delivering residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed‑use developments.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Advanced proficiency in Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3DS Max, Lumion, Photoshop.

  • Strong BIM capability: 3D modelling, clash detection, discipline coordination.

  • Ability to integrate architectural BIM models with MEP and Structural teams.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.

• UAE project experience is a major advantage.
