Job summary

Birlasoft in Bengaluru, INDIA, seeks a Sr Architect to lead Performance Testing and Engineering for enterprise-scale applications. You will define testing strategies, set KPIs/SLAs/NFRs, and review architectures to minimize performance risks across the SDLC.

You will design scalable testing frameworks, create workload models, and collaborate with development, infra and DevOps teams to drive optimal performance outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing performance testing strategies.
• Ability to analyze bottlenecks across CPU, memory and IO.
• Hands-on with load, stress and endurance testing.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise-wide Performance Testing and Engineering frameworks.
• Establish performance benchmarks, KPIs, SLAs, and NFRs.
• Design end-to-end performance testing strategies for large-scale apps.
• Review architecture and identify performance risks in SDLC.
• Provide optimization recommendations for performance and scalability.
• Design and execute Load, Stress, Volume, Endurance, Spike, Scalability, Capacity testing.
• Develop reusable performance testing frameworks and scripts.
• Create workload models and user behavior simulations.
• Analyze test results and perform bottleneck analysis.
• Collaborate with dev, infra, DBA and DevOps teams to resolve issues.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Conduct root cause analysis of application performance issues.
• Analyze:

  4. Network latency
  5. Database performance
  6. JVM metrics
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, DBA, and DevOps teams to resolve performance issues.
