Job summary

Birlasoft Limited in Bengaluru, India, is seeking experts to define and implement enterprise-wide performance testing and engineering frameworks. You will establish benchmarks, KPIs, SLAs, and non-functional requirements, then design end-to-end testing strategies for large-scale applications.

You will review architectures for performance risks across the SDLC, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide tuning recommendations for applications, middleware, databases, and infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise-wide Performance Testing and Engineering frameworks.
• Establish performance benchmarks, KPIs, SLAs, and NFRs.
• Design end-to-end performance testing strategies for complex, large-scale applications.
• Review application architecture and identify performance risks during the SDLC lifecycle.
• Provide recommendations for performance optimization and scalability improvements.
• Design and execute Load, Stress, Volume, Endurance/Soak, Spike, Scalability and Capacity testing.
• Develop reusable performance testing frameworks and scripts.
• Create workload models and user behavior simulations.
• Analyze results and perform bottleneck analysis.

  • Design and execute:
    • Load Testing
    • Stress Testing
    • Volume Testing
    • Endurance/Soak Testing
    • Spike Testing
    • Scalability Testing
    • Capacity Testing
  • Develop reusable performance testing frameworks and scripts.
  • Create realistic workload models and user behavior simulations.
  • Analyze performance test results and provide detailed bottleneck analysis.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting
  • Conduct root cause analysis of application performance issues.
  • Analyze:
    • CPU utilization
    • Memory consumption
    • Thread behavior
    • Network latency
    • Database performance
    • JVM metrics
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, DBA, and DevOps teams to resolve performance issues.
  • Provide tuning recommendations for applications, middleware, databases, and infrastructure.
