Job summary

Muffin Design Solutions is seeking an experienced interior designer to develop creative concepts for F&B and retail spaces. You will plan interiors, produce detailed 2D drawings and 3D renderings, and collaborate with clients and project teams to realize design intent.

The role requires strong Vectorworks skills, proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, and the ability to manage multiple projects with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture with strong Vectorworks proficiency.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp for 2D & 3D design development.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively.
• Experience in interior design for F&B and Retail sectors (6–12 years).

Responsibilities

• Efficiently plan interior spaces to optimize user experience and adhere to building codes.
• Create detailed drawings, renderings, and visualizations using AutoCAD and SketchUp to communicate design intent.
• Collaborate closely with clients, PMs, and consultants throughout project phases.
• Present design concepts to clients and address feedback with effective solutions.
• Assist in developing project budgets and monitor timelines.
• Develop comprehensive construction drawings detailing interior elements, joinery, lighting, etc.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design implementation.

• Conduct occasional site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design implementation adheres to specifications.
• Stay informed about trends, emerging technologies, and innovative design solutions within the F&B and Retail design sectors.

Preferred candidate profile
