Job description

We are seeking an experienced and creative Interior Designer to lead space planning, conceptual design, 3D visualization, and execution management for residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will combine strong spatial planning skills with high proficiency in SketchUp to deliver functional layouts, photorealistic 3D renderings, and precise working drawings while overseeing site execution through to project handover.

Key Responsibilities -

• 1) Layout Designing & Space Planning: Conceptualize and draft functional space plans, optimized floor layouts, zoning diagrams, and furniture placements tailored to operational workflows and ergonomic standards.
• 2) 3D SketchUp Visualization: Develop detailed 3D SketchUp models, internal elevations, and rendered walkthroughs/visuals (using V-Ray or Enscape) to communicate design intent and material finishes effectively.
• 3) Technical Drafting: Prepare execution-ready AutoCAD Working Drawings based on approved layout designs, including electrical/plumbing conduits, false ceiling plans, modular furniture details, and custom joinery.
• 4) Site Supervision & Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to ensure civil works, MEP installations, lighting, and custom fabrications align precisely with approved 3D models and layout drawings.
• 5) Vendor & Material Management: Source finishes, hardware, and materials based on 3D renderings; prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and coordinate with specialized contractors to keep project execution on schedule and within budget.

Required Qualifications & Skills -

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience handling commercial office fit-outs, specialized facilities, or high-end residential interiors.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in SketchUp (with V-Ray or Enscape rendering), AutoCAD (for detailed layout drafting), MS Excel, and Photoshop.
• Core Competencies: Strong grasp of spatial ergonomics, layout optimization, material behavior, structural/MEP integration, and site execution workflows.
• Communication: Ability to present 3D design concepts clearly and coordinate effectively with site supervisors, client teams, and trade vendors.
