Flex in Pune, India is seeking a Senior Analyst - Planning to strengthen its materials planning and supply chain support. The role focuses on providing planning expertise, analyzing data, and coordinating with buyers and suppliers to meet the customer schedule.

The candidate should have 1–4 years in planning, a Bachelor’s or engineering degree, and strong Excel/ERP BAAN skills, with excellent communication to manage stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of planning experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint; ERP knowledge preferred (BAAN).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to analyze supply chain for demand pull or push.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning support to the Customer Focus Team (CFT).
• Ensure materials planning aligns with weekly production plans and site needs.
• Track shortages, status reports, and excess/obsolete inventory for mitigation.
• Prepare first-level data analyses and share cleaned data with planners.
• Monitor inventory vs. targets and coordinate with buyers for mitigations.
• Coordinate with external suppliers to expedite material flow and support MRP.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we re looking to add a Senior Analyst - Planning in Pune India. A planning professional who can quickly and accurately process overall planning activities in a fast paced environment. Has excellent stake holders service skills and works well in a team to consistently meet challenging performance targets.

What a typical day looks like:

• Responsible for providing expertise and support to the Customer Focus Team (CFT)
• Ensuring the ability of the materials planning for a specific project or projects as required providing materials support to the weekly production planned orders and enables to achieve Kit on time drop to meet Customer Schedule.
• Key assignments include providing timely Materials status through use of available Shortage reports.
• Submission of Excess and Obsolete Inventory to the Customer, Work Order Management, inventory management, MRB and DR Management to achieve the operating goals.
• Collate the data based on the input received from CFT, do first level of analysis, and share the clean data back to the planner as per agreed timelines.
• Monitor Inventory levels vs. goals, Shortage reports with detailed comments - CTB, Excess Mitigation with Buyers. Prepare the analysis for excess mitigation with the site buyer.
• Schedule and coordinate status of materials within or with the external suppliers to expedite materials in conjunction with the MRP, providing support and expertise to the Buyers as required.
• Ensure all materials procedures are adhered to by the Planner

The experience we re looking to add to our team:

• Education: Bachelor s Degree or Engineering Graduates
• Experience - 1 to 4 years in Planning
• Mandatory Knowledge of computer software applications, MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint (PF)
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to analyze supply chain for demand pull in or push out.
• Knowledge of ERP (Preferably BAAN)
