Job summary

Vista Spaces in Bangalore, Karnataka, seeks a Senior Accounts Manager to lead financial reporting, compliance, and accounting operations across our real estate project portfolio. This is ideal for a finance professional with Big 4 or advisory background who wants an operating role with direct exposure to project-level P&L, JDAs, and regulatory compliance (RERA, GST).

You will own end-to-end accounting, manage statutory filings, support financial modeling, and mentor a small finance team.

Qualifications

• CA/ACCA/CMA qualified (or equivalent) with 6–10 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in Big 4 firms preferred.
• Real estate industry experience highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of RERA, GST and TDS.
• Proficient in financial modeling and Excel; ERP exposure.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end accounting and financial reporting for multiple real estate projects.
• Manage statutory compliance including RERA filings, GST structuring and returns, TDS, and other regulatory requirements.
• Support financial modeling and analysis for Joint Development Agreements (JDAs), land acquisitions, and new project feasibility.
• Prepare MIS reports, budget vs. actual analysis, and management dashboards for leadership review.
• Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, and liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, vendor reconciliations, and customer collection tracking with CRM and sales teams.
• Review and strengthen internal financial controls, SOPs, and documentation across accounting functions.
• Mentor and manage junior accounts/finance team members.
• Support fundraising, refinancing, and lender documentation as required for ongoing projects.

About the Role

Vista Spaces is looking for an enterprising Senior Accounts Manager to lead financial reporting, compliance, and accounting operations across our real estate project portfolio. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong Big 4 or audit/advisory background (EY, PwC, KPMG, Deloitte) who is looking to move into an operating role within a growing real estate developer, with direct exposure to project-level P&L, JDA structuring, and regulatory compliance (RERA, GST).

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end accounting and financial reporting for multiple real estate projects, including project-wise P&L and cash flow tracking
• Manage statutory compliance including RERA filings, GST structuring and returns, TDS, and other regulatory requirements specific to real estate transactions
• Support financial modeling and analysis for Joint Development Agreements (JDAs), land acquisitions, and new project feasibility
• Prepare MIS reports, budget vs. actual analysis, and management dashboards for leadership review Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, and liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies Oversee accounts payable/receivable, vendor reconciliations, and customer collection tracking in coordination with CRM and sales teams

• Strong working knowledge of RERA compliance, GST (especially construction/real estate-specific provisions), and TDS
• Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel; familiarity with accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work directly with founders/leadership and external stakeholders (auditors, banks, lawyers)
• High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and comfort working in a lean, fast-moving team environment Exposure to ERP implementation, particularly real estate-focused platforms (e.g., In4Velocity, Nimbus, SAP, or similar), will be an added advantage
