Job summary

Salona Cotspin Limited invites applications for a Senior Accountant at its Corporate Office in India. The role reports to Chief Accounts Officer / Finance Head and requires 15-20 years of experience in finance, preferably in manufacturing/textile sectors.

Candidates should possess B.Com / M.Com, strong MS Excel and ERP skills, and proven ability to close monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts while ensuring GST, TDS compliance and internal controls.

Qualifications

• 15-20 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing/textile industries.
• B.Com or M.Com with strong analytical abilities and integrity.
• Proficient in GST, TDS and statutory compliance; excellent Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting, journal entries, vouchers and ledger maintenance.
• Manage Accounts Payable, Receivable, Bank Reconciliation and Inter-unit Reconciliation.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing of accounts.
• Prepare MIS reports, expense analysis and management reports.
• Handle/coordinate GST, TDS and other statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with unit accounts teams, auditors, tax consultants and banks.
• Verify invoices, payments, supporting documents and accounting approvals.
• Monitor outstanding receivables, payables and advances.
• Support internal, statutory and tax audits and close audit queries.
• Ensure proper internal controls, documentation and accounting accuracy.
• Identify discrepancies and report major financial issues to the Finance Head.
