Job summary

Prithvi Inner Wears Private Limited is seeking a Spreader Operator to operate spreader equipment used to distribute materials such as asphalt, aggregate, sand, and gravel safely and accurately. The operator ensures proper material application, equipment performance, and compliance with workplace safety requirements.

Responsibilities include operating spreader machinery, controlling rate and width, inspecting equipment, performing maintenance, monitoring material levels, replenishing materials

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating spreaders or similar heavy equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic equipment maintenance and safety procedures.
• Ability to work outdoors and in physically demanding conditions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work accurately.
• Valid heavy-equipment/operator certification or license where required.

Responsibilities

• Operate spreader machinery safely and efficiently.
• Control the rate, width, and quantity of material being spread.
• Inspect equipment before and after operation.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance.
• Monitor material levels and replenish materials when required.
• Ensure accurate and uniform material distribution.
• Follow site plans, operating procedures, and supervisor instructions.
• Identify and report equipment faults, damage, or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain daily equipment and production records.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with ground workers, drivers, supervisors, and other equipment operators.
