Job summary

Prithvi Inner Wears Private Limited in Tamil Nadu, India is seeking a dedicated Fuser to operate the fusing machine safely and efficiently in our production line. You will check fabric, interlining, size, shade, and quantity before fusing; follow approved fusing temperature, pressure and machine speed settings; ensure proper alignment of fabric and interlining, and monitor quality throughout shifts.

This permanent, on-site role supports a fast-paced manufacturing environment with emphasis on 5S

Qualifications

• 12th std education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate the fusing machine safely and efficiently.
• Check fabric, interlining, size, shade, and quantity before fusing.
• Follow approved fusing temperature, pressure, and machine speed settings.
• Ensure proper alignment of fabric and interlining.
• Check fused components for proper bonding and appearance.
• Monitor machine temperature, pressure, and belt speed during production.
• Identify defects such as bubbling, peeling, scorching, shrinkage, and poor bonding.
• Separate defective pieces and inform the Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Maintain required production quantity and quality standards.
• Prevent fabric and interlining wastage.
• Keep the fusing machine and work area clean.
• Report machine breakdowns and abnormal conditions to the Maintenance Team.
• Follow 5S, safety, housekeeping, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain proper records as required.
• Support other fusing activities when instructed by the Supervisor.
