Harshplacements in Silvassa is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Operator to carry out preventive maintenance, safety procedures, and related tasks under supervision. This role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience and ITI/Fitter/Welder/Turner trade certification.

Responsabilités

• Operate preventive maintenance as per plan.
• Troubleshoot operating machines and ensure smooth running.
• Attend breakdowns and replace parts as instructed.
• Adhere to work instructions to finish maintenance on schedule.
• Provide feedback to supervisor and maintain good practices.
• Support machine and tool changes as planned by production.
• Follow all safety procedures while working.
• Record daily work and log meter readings as required.

Job Title: Maintenance Operator (Mechanical)

Location: Silvassa

Department: Mechanical Maintenance

Purpose of Job: Responsible for the preventive maintenance, safety procedures, and other activities as assigned by the supervisor.

Principal Accountabilities

• Implement preventive maintenance as per plan.
• Check for problems in the machines in operation and ensure smooth working of all machines.
• Attend breakdown and replace parts as per instruction.
• Ensure maintenance work as per work / job instruction in optimized time limit.
• Provide feedback of the maintenance work to the shift engineer / supervisor and maintain good operating practices.
• General maintenance of machine & tool change, job change activities as and when planned by production department.
• Follow all the safety procedures while working as described by the senior.
• Manage Five No’s of Fitter for various machinery maintenance (utility maintenance & operation, compressor operation, and shed area machinery maintenance including Breton Resin line, Breton Polish line, Gang saw, crane, bridge cutting, block dressing, gantry, Mosaic Area Machine, Mobile Crane, Forklift, Golf Cart).
• Fitter daily fill up day-to-day work in their work log book & sign by Mechanical Engineer.
• Daily working hour meter reading taken for the machinery for actual running.
• Daily round up total machinery of the plant & fill up daily check point list for all machinery to prevent major break down.
• Preventive maintenance carried out as per schedule weekly, monthly, half yearly & yearly.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• 3-5 years’ experience in similar profile.
• ITI / Fitter, Welder, Turner Trade.
