Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and technically driven Specification Consultant to strengthen our presence in the MEP and Datacenter segments. The role focuses on engaging with consultants, design firms, contractors, and project stakeholders to secure product specifications, develop business opportunities, and support project conversions through technical expertise and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with MEP consultants, Datacenter consultants, PMC firms, architects, and key project stakeholders to drive product specifications.
• Promote Fixotec’s modular support systems and engineering solutions within the consultant and specification community.
• Identify and secure opportunities to include company products in project specifications, tender documents, and approved vendor lists.
• Work closely with consultants, contractors, and end users during the project design and planning stages.
• Provide technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customized engineering solutions to consultants and customers.
• Collaborate with the sales and distributor teams to convert specifications into business opportunities and project sales.
• Support engineering discussions with technical inputs, design recommendations, and application guidance.
• Coordinate with internal design, BIM, and technical teams to deliver project-specific solutions and documentation.
• Track project pipelines, specification status, consultant interactions, and market developments.
• Conduct regular market analysis, monitor competitor activities, and identify emerging industry trends.
• Prepare periodic reports on specifications, project progress, consultant engagement, and business development activities.
• Organize consultant meets, technical workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to strengthen market positioning.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Specification Sales, Business Development, Technical Sales, or Consultant Management.
• Experience in MEP, Electrical, HVAC, Modular Support Systems, Construction, or Datacenter industry preferred.
• Communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel within Mumbai and nearby regions.
