Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the HR functions including campus hiring, conducting interviews, resume screening, and creating HR policies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, capable of managing a variety of HR activities to support our growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Campus Hiring
- Develop and execute campus recruitment strategies to attract top talent from universities and colleges.
- Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions to create a strong pipeline of candidates.
- Organize and participate in campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and career events.
- Coordinate with academic institutions to schedule campus visits, interviews, and assessments.
Interviewing and Selection
- Conduct interviews for a range of positions, from entry-level to management roles.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and develop tailored interview processes.
- Evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit with the organization.
- Provide recommendations and insights to hiring managers to assist in final hiring decisions.
Resume Screening
- Review and screen resumes to identify suitable candidates for various roles.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate applications and ensure efficient processing.
- Shortlist candidates for interviews based on job requirements and qualifications.
HR Policy Development
- Create, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements.
- Ensure that all HR policies are communicated effectively and are accessible to employees.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with HR policies across the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with labor laws and regulations to ensure that HR practices are in compliance.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and issues.
- Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement and satisfaction.
Training and Development
- Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and development initiatives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make adjustments as needed.
Performance Management
- Oversee the performance appraisal process, including setting goals, conducting evaluations, and providing feedback.
- Work with department heads to address performance issues and develop improvement plans.
- Support the implementation of performance improvement initiatives.
HR Analytics and Reporting
- Monitor HR metrics and prepare regular reports on HR activities, such as hiring trends, turnover rates, and employee satisfaction.
- Use data to inform HR strategy and decision-making.
Compliance and Legal
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Support internal audits and investigations related to HR practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on recruitment and policy development.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employment regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
