Job summary

Linde Global IT Delivery Center in Kolkata seeks an experienced SAP GTS Specialist to deliver a full scope of global trade services and support. You will define trade processes, manage embargoes, and implement Denied Party Screening solutions for Linde’s partners.

You will engage in proactive consulting, requirements analysis, and functional design, leveraging SAP SolMan for change management, and will support testing, upgrades, and incident management as part of a global IT delivery team.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in SAP GTS functional role.
• 4+ years ITIL/IT service management experience (certification preferred).
• Experience with SAP GTS on Hana including debugging and integration with other SAP/non-SAP systems.
• Strong communication to influence stakeholders and ensure alignment with IT strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide consulting based on industry practices in SAP GTS, including user authorisations, reports, jobs, and data structures.
• Participate in projects and enhancements, analyze requirements, estimate work effort, and document functional specs.
• Create functional designs including SAP standard customizing and technical specs using SAP Solution Manager for change management.
• Perform unit testing, system integration and functional testing.
• Support user acceptance testing, defect resolution, and cutover planning during go-live and hyper care.
• Conduct workshops and training to gather requirements and transfer knowledge.
• Contribute to incident management and service requests, analyze and resolve reported issues.
• Support system upgrades, integrations and testing.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• Inthis role, you will proactive consulting services based on industrypractices leveraging previous project experiences in the SAP GTS areas asdescribed (incl. e.g. user authorisations, reports, jobs, tablestructures, new functionality, system integration/interfaces)
• Youwill be part of Business projects and enhancements/continuous improvementslik analysis of user requirement received from customer/work effortestimation/create functional specification documenting the solution
• Createthe functional solution design which includes SAP standard customizing aswell as technical specifications delivered by the development team byusing SAP SolMan as Change Management system
• AndPerform unit testing, system integration- & functional (IT-) testing
• Supportingcustomer during user acceptance testing and regression testing. Resolvedefects identified during the testing cycles. Support cut overplanning/execution and hyper care phase after go-live
• Conductingworkshops and training sessions to gather requirements and provideknowledge transfer
• Youwill be contributing to Incident Management / Service requests (3rd LevelSupport) incl. analyzing and resolving the reported issue
• Supportingto perform system upgrades, integrations, and testing

Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?

• Musthave at least 3 years of experience in a SAP GTS solution basedfunctional role.
• Academicdegree in Business Administration or – Informatics or a certificated ITeducation
  min. 4+ year professional experience in IT processes and ITIL
• Also,practical experience of IT Service Management Processes such as softwarechange and/or release management or application management experience
• Youmust have the ability to debug SAP code to a certain extent to resolve lowlevel incidents.
• Experiencein SAP GTS Edition for Hana with debugging, integration knowledge withother SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Also,effective communication skills are required to influence stakeholders toachieve support and consistency of the overall IT strategies and policies,specifically in their own subject areas.
• Musthave excellent analytical skills, together with the ability to think"outside the box".
• ForeignTrade Zone handling within GTS incl. Material balancing
