Job summary

Flex is seeking a Specialist – Logistics in Pune, India to join the GBS Logistics team. You will process purchase orders, manage transportation rates, and support monthly metrics, reporting, and contract management in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years in supply chain/logistics, and proficiency with ERP/P2P systems (BAAN, SAP, Oracle) plus MS Office. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of supply chain or logistics experience.
• Proficiency with ERP/P2P systems BAAN, SAP or Oracle.
• Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Procure ad hoc rates to support solution requirements - air / ocean / express.
• Managing the rate validity & variable rates.
• Manage and maintain the transportation analysis and decision support systems Transportation Rate Benchmarks.
• Monthly Site Metrics and Logistics Savings Plans Reporting.
• Develop rate databases.
• Maintain Global Transportation Rates with suppliers.
• Contract Management

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Experience: 3 years+ of supply chain / Logistics experience
• Proficiency: ERP/P2P systems BAAN / SAP/ Oracle
• Mandatory Knowledge of computer software applications, MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint (PF).
• Excellent communication skills
