Job summary

Flex is hiring a Specialist – Logistics in Pune, India, to support the Global Procurement & Supply Chain team. The role rapidly processes purchase orders in a fast-paced environment and requires strong stakeholder service skills and teamwork.

You will procure ad hoc rates, maintain rate databases, and support transportation cost analysis and monthly reporting with a focus on accuracy and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3+ years of supply chain/logistics experience.
• Proficiency in ERP/P2P systems (BAAN, SAP, Oracle).
• MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Procure ad hoc rates for air/ocean/express to meet requirements.
• Manage rate validity and variable rates.
• Maintain transportation analysis and decision-support systems.
• Develop rate databases and support monthly metrics & savings reports.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Specialist – Logistics in Pune, India. The Specialist - GBS Logistics should quickly and accurately process purchase orders in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, should have excellent stake holders service skills and works well in a team to consistently meet challenging performance targets.

Typical day looks like

• Procure ad hoc rates to support solution requirements - air / ocean / express
• Managing the rate validity & variable rates
• Manage and maintain the transportation analysis and decision support systems
• Transportation Rate Benchmarks Monthly Site Metrics and Logistics Savings Plans Reporting
• Develop rate databases
• Maintain Global Transportation Rates with suppliers Contract Management

Experience we’re looking to add to our team

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience: 3 years+ of supply chain / Logistics experience
• Proficiency: ERP/P2P systems BAAN / SAP/ Oracle
• Mandatory Knowledge of computer software applications, MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint (PF).
• Excellent communication skills
