Job summary

Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner helping market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products. The role of Subject Matter Expert- Supply Chain Solutions is based in Chennai, India, and invites experienced professionals to contribute to end-to-end planning, ERP integrations, and data governance.

In this position you will work with BAAN V/LN ERP systems, coordinate with IT and business teams, and support migrations, upgrades, and new integrations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years hands-on experience with BAAN V and/or BAAN LN and supply chain solutions.
• Experience supporting global manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Experience in ERP implementation, enhancement, or migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of Supply Chain processes (E&O, Inventory, Finance integration).
• Experience with ERP (BAAN/LN), MDSS, Snowflake, Tableau/MSTR.
• Strong data analytics, validation, and governance mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in solution design, UAT, and system implementation.

Responsibilities

• Understand and support end-to-end Supply Chain Planning processes including Demand, Supply, Production & Capacity Planning, MRP, Inventory Management, Order Management.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for BAAN V and BAAN LN ERP applications.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Support ERP enhancements, upgrades, migrations, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with business users and IT teams to resolve system issues and improve functionality.
• Evaluate integration requirements between ERP and connected applications.
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure successful implementation of integrations.
• Validate data mapping, interface logic, and business rules.
• Analyze ERP master and transactional data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Support data migration (Site migration) and validation activities.
• Collaborate with reporting and analytics teams for dashboard / solution related impact
• Perform root cause analysis for data discrepancies.

What a typical day looks like:
