Job summary

Genpact in Gurugram, India, seeks a Specialist - F&A - FP&A to drive cost analysis, budgeting and reporting. You will prepare costing, analyze variances, reconcile inventories, and support month-end closures, delivering MIS and profitability insights.

The role requires strong FP&A and accounting foundations, expertise in Excel and SAP, and experience with R2R processes. Hybrid work model offered in India.

Qualifications

• Degrees in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance.
• Postgraduate Finance qualifications preferred (CFA/CFP/ CMA/CPA).
• Experience with cost accounting and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Indian accounting standards and statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain product costing and standard cost systems.
• Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs.
• Conduct variance analysis and investigate cost differences.
• Monitor inventory valuation and reconcile stock records.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, profitability reports, and MIS.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Perform account reconciliations and journal entries.
