Position Overview

The organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to become an integral part of our vibrant team. The role of Specialist – Capacity Building is to support FMSF’s capacity building initiatives and contribute to research, publications, training delivery, and sectoral outreach. This position will be responsible for assisting in managing knowledge content, designing and implementing workshops, and supporting stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and organizing capacity building interventions related to governance, financial management, and legal compliance in the development sector.
  • Maintain and update comprehensive databases and documentation related to all capacity building initiatives.
  • Provide support in drafting and compiling knowledge documents on financial management, governance, and legal compliances relevant to NPOs.
  • Support data collection, surveys, feedback analysis, and stakeholder engagement activities related to capacity‑building initiatives.
  • Stakeholder management and coordination to ensure smooth execution of capacity building initiatives.
  • Create engaging online content for social media and ensure traction on all social media platforms.
  • Carry out any other duties or tasks as required by FMSF.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3‑5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Preferably an MBA/CA/M.Com in Finance, or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in handling end‑to‑end capacity‑building initiatives.
  • Understanding of the non‑profit sector and its operational environment.
  • Familiarity with online learning platforms, social media handling, and digital content creation tools is a plus.
  • Demonstrates efficient time management skills.
  • Good analytical and desktop management skills.
  • Proficient in IT and communication tools.
  • Willingness to travel within and outside the country.
